Goal: Set up a landing page that helps you gain potential customers by offering them a lead magnet in exchange for their email address.

Set up a landing page for a lead magnet in Mailchimp
Login to your MailChimp account. If you don’t have a Mailchimp account, sign up for one here.
Click “Create” from the dashboard.
Click “Build a landing page”.
Click on the “Lead Generation” template.
In the template editor, update the following:
Add a logo — Click on the logo placeholder, then drag an image (your logo) into the logo placeholder.
Click on the main header and description, and update the copy.
Click on the form headline and update the copy
Click on the Call to Action button and update the copy.
(Optional) Add an image right above the form headline to illustrate the lead magnet.
Update the rest of the copy for the second half of the page.
Once you’ve done updating the landing page. Click “Save & Close”.
On the next page, edit the name of your landing page.
Note: This name is for internal use only and is not shown to the public.
Next, add a title to your page.
Note: This title is visible to the public.
Edit the page URL.
Edit the audience. Choose an email list to collect people who’ve signed up to download your free template. If you haven’t created such a list, follow this documentation and create one.
It’s recommended that you add a tag for people who sign up on this list (e.g. Marketing Template Leads). Once a subscriber is tagged, you can create rules/automation in MailChimp down the road to segment and contact these subscribers.
Important: You won’t be able to change the audience once you’ve published this page so make sure you’ve selected the correct email list/audience.
Once done, click publish.
You’ve now set up the landing page. Copy this URL and use it in your marketing campaign (e.g. Facebook, Google Ads, Social media, etc).
