Would You Rehire?

Leadership’s Hardest Truth

Hey friend!

This month’s letter is short and sweet—but it might be the most important question you ask yourself all quarter.

If you knew then what you know now… would you hire that person again?

No fluff. No emotion. Just honesty.

If the answer is a confident yes, that’s amazing. Celebrate it. Invest deeper. Help them grow.

But if the answer is no—even a hesitant “probably not”—it’s time to pay attention.

Don’t wait for a major issue or an emotional breaking point.

Don’t rationalize or avoid.

And please, don’t keep someone in a role just because it’s hard to imagine the transition.

Leadership means making the hard calls before the pain gets loud.
